Are you a hands-on engineer who enjoys problem-solving, improving processes, and keeping critical systems running? We’re recruiting a Site Services Engineer for our client’s busy Manchester facility – a role that combines technical challenge with rewarding impact.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled engineer to step into a key role maintaining site infrastructure, utilities, and services that keep operations efficient and compliant.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Technical Support: Troubleshoot and repair both electrical and mechanical faults across the facility to ensure maximum uptime.

  • Health & Safety: Promote and adhere to high safety standards by conducting risk assessments and following all compliance protocols.

  • Site Systems: Support and maintain HVAC, waste, plumbing, and general site infrastructure—coordinating with contractors when needed.

  • Documentation: Keep clear, accurate maintenance records and report findings to the Site Services Manager.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements that enhance system performance and reduce operational costs.

  • Experience: Background in site services or maintenance engineering within industrial, manufacturing, or facilities settings.

  • Technical Skills: Confident in mechanical/electrical fault finding. HVAC, plumbing, and general building services experience is a big plus.

  • Mindset: Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently to solve problems and keep systems running smoothly.

  • 32 days holiday (including 8 bank holidays).

  • 5% company pension contribution.

  • Early finish every Friday!

  • Ongoing training & development support.
