Site Supervisor
Based in Prestonpans near Musselburgh
£250 - £275 per day (Ltd Company) - 3 Month Contract – Outside IR35
This specialist manufacturer of components and systems for the process industry have exciting plans to double their order book in the next two years having joined up with a global name in the sector. With workload increasing, there is a requirement for a Site Supervisor to help support the production team to ensure that work is completed on time and to budget.

The Role
As a Site Supervisor role will involve the following:
- Being present on the shopfloor
- Offering support to the production team on site
- Answering any questions that may arise
- Solving problems and offering advice
- Ensuring the factory is kept clean and 5S is being followed
- Team talks in the morning if required
- Monitoring attendance, behaviour and work progress
- Maximising productivity by reducing downtime
- Promoting best practice and good work ethic
- Act as a facilitator to help point the production staff in the right direction
The Site Supervisor will need the following skills to be successful in their application:
- Experience of supervising people in a manufacturing / engineering / production / logistics environment
- Excellent communication skills
- High level of empathy and support
- Excellent work ethic
- An eye for detail and diligent working practices
