Team Leader / Maintenance Engineer Electrical Bias (Days)
Location: Rotherham
Contract Length: 3–6 Months
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7 AM – 4 PM
Rate: £35 (Outside IR35)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Team Leader / Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a 3-month contract. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems in a FMCG environment to ensure smooth production processes.

In this dual-role position, you’ll combine hands-on maintenance with team leadership, working closely with engineers to carry out electrical and mechanical tasks during routine PPM shutdowns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out day-to-day electrical and mechanical maintenance in a FMCG Setting
- Diagnose faults, troubleshoot, and perform system repairs
- Lead and oversee a small team of engineers – setting the pace and maintaining high standards
- Ensure compliance with all site and industry standards
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a food production
- Strong technical understanding of PLC systems, motors, and electrical control panels
- Demonstrable leadership experience with a hands-on, proactive approach
