Test Engineer (Electrical) – Warrington
£20.00p/h - £24.00p/h (LTD or Umbrella - outside of IR35)

3-month contract, with a likelihood of extension
I am recruiting exclusively for a large multi-site engineering manufacturing client, based in Cheshire. They are a leading UK manufacturer to chemical, water, and wastewater industries. They are looking for an Electrical Test Engineer to quality test final build of complex finished products out of their new state of the art manufacturing facility based near Warrington.
As Test Engineer, you will require to conduct the following duties:
- Carry out tests to make sure client requirements are met
- Testing of Complex control panels once they have been assembled and wired
- The testing will include:
- Point to point testing
- Flash testing
- Function testing
- Ensure the Panel meets standards of the specifications
- Complete all the QA Testing Documentation
- Report on causes of Failures and recommend further actions
- Investigation and problem solving
As Test Engineer you will need to have the following attributes:
- Apprentice trained or NVQ Level 2/3 in electrical engineering or similar
- Previous Testing/QA/QC engineering experience within the build and manufacture of electrical control panels
- A good team player, with a keen eye for detail
- Take pride in your work
