We are now seeking an experienced Welder to join our team and support the production of high-specification pressure vessels and components, manufactured to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Welding pressure-rated sub-assemblies and high-integrity equipment
- Working to strict welding procedures with high NDT success rates
- Maintaining quality and achieving production deadlines
- Producing radiographic / ultrasonic acceptable welds
- Completing traceability documentation
- Slinging and lifting large heavy components
Essential Skills & Requirements
- Experience welding pressure vessels and pressure-retaining components
- Proven ability to produce X-ray / UT-tested welds
- Strong background in stainless steel fabrication
- Competent welding in 2G position to approved WPS
- Ability to read and work to engineering drawings
Core Welding Processes
You must be experienced in:
- GMAW (MIG/MAG)
- FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
- GTAW (TIG Welding)
- Pipe welding & open-root welding
- Weld purging for stainless pipework
