CMM Programmer - Blackburn area
Contract/Temp opportunity
£30 - £40p/h GROSS RATE, DOE
PAYE or UMBRELLA – inside IR35
3-month contract, potential for longer
I am working with a key client in the Blackburn area, who are a world leading manufacturer of components and structures to the Aerospace sectors. They are looking for an experienced CMM Programmer to join their engineering function, ensuring new products are meeting client requirements.
For this position of CMM Programmer, you will require to conduct the following duties:
v Software programming for key component inspection
v Based within New product and engineering – utilising expertise too to identify potential pitfalls
v Help plan, modify and putting programmes together
v Work alongside CNC Programmer
v Work with primarily composite material products for aircraft
v Well Structured, putting the programmes on file etc
v React to design changes at last minute
The successful person will need to have the CMM Programmer attributes:
v Ideally NVQ L3 mechanical engineering/aerospace manufacturing related industries
v CMM Programming on software such as Faro/Mitutoyo/PC-DMIS etc
v Strong communication skills, highly organised
v Reliable and punctual
v Keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality
v Microsoft Office – Excel / Word
