Electrical Installation Engineer
Location: Northwest
Rate: £25p/h-£30p/h
Outside IR35
3 Months initial contract – ongoing work available
I am currently working with a well-established company that specialises in electrical project installations and site maintenance. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit experienced Electrical Installation Engineers to support ongoing and upcoming projects.
As an Electrical Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Electrical installation of machinery and industrial equipment
• Installation and termination of 3-phase power and LV systems
• Panel installation, wiring, glanding, and looms
• Installation of containment systems including ladder, tray, trunking, and steel wire basket
• Strip-out and reinstallation of electrical cabling
• Point-to-point testing, fault finding, and commissioning support
The successful Electrical Installation Engineer will have the following:
• Time-served electrician / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Experience working as an installation engineer in industrial or manufacturing environments
