Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
SALARY: £34,000K - £38,000K
LOCATION: West Yorkshire
HOURS OF WORK: Shift work (12 hours) – 2-week rota.
THE COMPANY
My client is a well-established food manufacturing company who owns multiple sites throughout the UK; and the position they are currently hiring for is their West Yorkshire site. With an annual turnover of around £750 million and a growing employee bank of 350+ employee’s, the plans for further expansion and growth is evident.
THE ROLE OF AN ELECTRICALLY BIASED MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
The main responsibilities are:
- Maintaining and fault finding electrical and mechanical issues
- Investigating and resolving reactive maintenance on high-speed automated slicing and packaging lines.
- Working with PLC equipment to assist with repair work.
- Working on food processing and packaging machinery.
THE IDEAL ELECTRICAL BIASED MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
To be considered for this role we are looking for an experienced Electrically Biased Multi-Skilled Engineer who:
- Has a NVQ level 3 in electrical or mechanical engineering; or equivalent.
- Are competent in both their mechanical and electrical skillset.
- Ideally has experience working in a factory.
- Is confident with reactive work.
- Is comfortable working solo as well as being part of a team.
The ideal candidate would be someone who preferably has prior experience working in a FMCG environment or food background, due to the busy nature of the site.
