Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £43,000 – £46,000 + Lots of OT + KPI Bonus
 Shift: Double Days (Monday to Friday)
Location: Widnes

Training and development provided such as PLC Programming courses Fully Funded, Product specific training

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Widnes. This is a permanent position offering long-term security, excellent training, and a highly competitive salary.

Key Responsibilities As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer :

  • Responding to reactive breakdowns across the site to minimise downtime
  • Fault finding, problem solving, and repairs on manufacturing/production machinery to ensure maximum plant reliability and performance
  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of electrical plant equipment and components
  • Providing on-shift electrical support to the maintenance and engineering teams

About You:

  • Time-served or fully qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 / HNC / Apprenticeship)
  • Proven experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Strong fault-finding skills and experience with PLCs, motors, sensors, and electrical systems
  • Team player with a proactive and safety-first approach

Desirable:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • FMCG or manufacturing industry background
