Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £43,000 – £46,000 + Lots of OT + KPI Bonus
Shift: Double Days (Monday to Friday)
Location: Widnes
Training and development provided such as PLC Programming courses Fully Funded, Product specific training
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business in Widnes. This is a permanent position offering long-term security, excellent training, and a highly competitive salary.
Key Responsibilities As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer :
- Responding to reactive breakdowns across the site to minimise downtime
- Fault finding, problem solving, and repairs on manufacturing/production machinery to ensure maximum plant reliability and performance
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of electrical plant equipment and components
- Providing on-shift electrical support to the maintenance and engineering teams
About You:
- Time-served or fully qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 / HNC / Apprenticeship)
- Proven experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
- Strong fault-finding skills and experience with PLCs, motors, sensors, and electrical systems
- Team player with a proactive and safety-first approach
Desirable:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- FMCG or manufacturing industry background
