Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Deeside
Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 + £7,000 On-Call Allowance
Hours: Monday to Friday, Days
On-Call: 1 in 4 weeks (minimal call-outs)
Holidays: 25 days + 8 bank holidays (increases with service)
Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a role with strong career progression, excellent training, and the opportunity to lead?
We're looking for a driven engineer to join our site in Deeside, where you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our operations. You'll be running the maintenance department and taking part in daily engineering meetings focused on safety and team coordination. After your morning briefings, you'll manage your own workload using the CMMS system—balancing reactive tasks and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
What You’ll Be Doing:

Leading the day-to-day running of the maintenance department

Attending and contributing to daily engineering and safety meetings

Managing your own maintenance tasks through our CMMS system

Diagnosing and resolving electrical issues, including PLC I/O checks

Supporting and improving health and safety compliance on site

Participating in an on-call rota (1 in 4 weeks, minimal call-outs)

What We’re Looking For:
-
Qualified Electrical Engineer (or working towards qualifications)

Experience with electrical maintenance in a manufacturing/industrial setting

Confident checking I/Os on PLCs and working with minimal supervision

Eager to learn and develop through provided training opportunities

Strong communicator and proactive team player
