The Company:
A large, multi-site manufacturing business that is rapidly growing is looking for an electrical maintenance engineer at its largest and manufacturing plant in the North East. They have invested heavily in new machinery and equipment on site and are looking for an experienced engineer to help maintain it.
The busines are really big on training and development so you can really see your technical skills increasing.
The Role:
- The electrical maintenance engineer will work a 3 shift and conduct planned and reactive maintenance activities across a large manufacturing plant.
- Day to day you will be working on AC/DC motors, drives, invertors, relays and PLC controlled equipment.
- Mechanically you will be working on gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, pneumatics and some hydraulics.
Required Experience:
- The successful electrical maintenance engineer will be apprentice trained with a minimum of NVQ3 qualification
- You must have worked on an automated manufacturing site before ad be flexible to work shifts
- Strong electrical and mechanical Fault finding, and diagnostic skills are essential, as is communication and organisational skills
