Electrical Maintenance Engineer
£42K + 2K Bonus
6-2/2-10 Shift + Early Finish on a Friday
OT is 1.5 Monday to Saturday and x2 on a Sunday
Based in Bradford
The Company:
Part of a large multi-site manufacturing group, this business design and manufacture capital machinery that is sold into FMCG businesses globally. The factory in Bradford is where they manufacture components for special purpose machinery, and they assemble the components into a fully automated machine.
The Role:
You will be maintaining metal forming machinery used in the manufacture of components, and assembly equipment such as CNC’s, robotics, mechanical handling equipment etc.
- The electrical maintenance engineer will work a 2 shift and conduct planned and reactive maintenance activities across a large manufacturing plant.
- Day to day you will be working on AC/DC motors, drives, invertors, relays and PLC controlled equipment.
- Mechanically you will be working on gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, pneumatics and some hydraulics.
Required Experience:
- The successful electrical maintenance engineer will be apprentice trained with a minimum of NVQ3 qualification
- You must have worked on an automated manufacturing site before ad be flexible to work shifts
- Strong electrical and mechanical Fault finding, and diagnostic skills are essential, as is communication and organisational skills
