Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are currently recruiting for the largest single site distribution centre in the UK at 3 million square foot. Due to growth and site expansion, they have already completed phase 1 with phase 2 being completed in November this year and are now requiring 2 additional experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineers to join them.
The primary function of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer is to support the production department throughout the provision of planned and daily maintenance on equipment’s such as conveyors, shuttle systems, auto baggers, packing equipment and much more. The engineering department currently operated a rotating continental shift pattern of 05:50-17:50 with the occasional overtime.
To be considered for the Electrical Maintenance role, you must possess the following:
- Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong electrical fault findings and able to read drawings
- Worked within a fast-paced environment setting
- Proficiency in PLC inputs and outputs
- Ability to work to your own initiative and think fast on your feet to solve problems
- Flexible in your approach work and able to contribute to continuous improvement methods.
