Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Stanford-le-Hope, London Gateway

Shift – Days, Afternoons and Nights (8 hours, 1 week of each rotating)

£42,000 plus paid overtime and excellent training

The Role

As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will working on a wide variety of bespoke conveyors, automated loading and unloading systems and associated equipment.  You will be responsible for:

  • PPM activity on equipment – this is carried out during the day whilst the system isn’t operational.
  • Reactive breakdown support on equipment – during sortation hours
  • Walking the system to continuously assess and address any ongoing issues.
  • Carrying out fault finding on control panels.
  • Replacing electrical components when required.
  • Supporting with mechanical work when required.


The Candidate

To be successful in your application for this Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will need:

  • Either a full electrical apprenticeship
  • Or a level 3 electrical qualification
  • To have worked in a busy automated or manufacturing environment
  • Enjoy working in a close-knit team
