Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Regular Days 8-4 Monday to Friday
£45,000 + 8% Pension + 7.5% bonus + Medical
Based in West Yorkshire
The Company:
This company is part of a larger group that specialise in the manufacture of speciality chemicals for many different applications. The plant in West Yorkshire is one of the main manufacturing plants within the group and produces huge quantities for customers all over the world.
The Role:
Working regular days in a highly automated chemical processing plant the electrical maintenance engineer role involves the:
- Design, installation and maintenance of electrical control systems and instrumentation
- Management of small to medium sized capital projects
- Ensure equipment and systems are designed and maintained to prevent major accidents
- Repair electrical and mechanical faults on site
- Supervision of electrical and mechanical contractors
Required Experience:
- The electrical maintenance engineer will be apprentice trained to NVQ 3 level
- Strong understanding of EC&I systems
- Strong H&S focus
- Experience of working in a highly regulated environment such as Chemical, Steel, Glass manufacturing etc
