£35k + overtime - Guaranteed OTE £38-40k

Monday to Friday - Regular days - 40hr week
25 days + 8days bank holiday + option to carry over

The Company:
My client is a global process manufacturing plant based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire and have 5 manufacturing sites across the world. They have just invested in further capex projects valued over £2.5 and are going through mass expansion. They are looking to attract the right electrical maintenance engineer to be part of this succession plan. On offer is a role to make your own, to progress in to various areas including supervisory, projects over the next few years. My client have been involved in recent projects that include, factory extensions to increase capacity and brand-new machinery installations.

The Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
As the maintenance engineer, you will be working in a fast paced, manufacturing environment and be responsible for:
- Breakdowns on all plant and machinery across the site
- Planned and proactive maintenance to help reduce breakdowns
- Root cause analysis of repetitive faults to get to the heart of the problem
- Project work such as machine moves and installations, modifications to existing machinery to upgrade automation, and CI projects to identify issues in production that can be improved.
Required Experience of the Maintenance Engineer
- The ideal maintenance engineer will either be time served or trained electrically
- You must have maintenance experience within a manufacturing ideally within hazardous environment
- It is important that you want to join a company that can help you develop as an engineer
