The Company
Our client is giving you an amazing chance, as an engineering shift manager, to join one of the leading manufacturing firms that operates in the FMCG industry! As an engineering shift manager, you will help play your part in maintaining the company’s status as a market leader, by working with a great team of skilled engineers on a range of different kit – perfect for engineer who loves getting stuck in!
The Role
As an engineering shift manager you will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of 4 engineers through the use organising and planning shift duties
- Organising PPMs through the use of a CMMS
- Dealing with contractors
- Training younger engineers
- Writing permits
- Responding to breakdowns on machinery and fault finding mechanical and electrical components
Requirements
As an engineering shift manager, it is required that you:
- Hold an NVQ level 3 in either mechanical or electrical engineering
- Have previous supervisory experience in engineering
- Are a great team player
