The Company
Our client is a leading a manufacturer of high-quality products. With multiple sites across the UK, this multi-million-pound company are looking to recruit an engineering team leader to join their strong and accomplished engineering team.
Their site in Leicestershire produces a range of well-known products into the biggest supermarkets and have seen huge growth in their turnover. The business has recently gone through significant investment to improve their facility and operations and have expanded their site to cope with demand.
Role
As an Engineering Team Leader your day-to-day duties will include:
- Managing a team of maintenance engineers on a day-to-day basis
- Planning of maintenance activities for your engineering team
- Ensuring KPIs are met
- Coach, develop and mentor engineers
- Attend engineering meetings
- Work towards a culture of CI
- Day to day management of the team
- Performance management
- Attending meetings (feedback on breakdowns and overview)
Candidate
The successful candidate for the Engineering Team Leader needs to be:
- Qualified to minimum of a level 3 in an electrical engineering discipline
- Managed or supervised a team with examples of performance management
- Ideally have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
