A multi-sited manufacturing business that produces millions of their products each week. Despite the current economic conditions this company is seeing an increase in demand. Boasting a turnover of over £1bn and with future plans to increase their product portfolio, this is a fantastic time to join this company.
The site now has a fantastic opportunity for a Site Services Technician to join their established engineering function and help the business increase its performance going forward.
Role
As the site services technician you will be responsible for:
- Performing daily boiler checks
- Flushing of the water systems
- Servicing air handling units
- Ensuring electrical sockets are safe and functioning
- Managing emergency lighting
- Supporting contractors on site
- Maintenance of fan units
- Dealing with any lighting issues
- Basic grounds maintenance
Person
The ideal person for the site services technician will have experience with the following:
- Understanding of boilers, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical systems
- Experience in risk management
- Minimum of a NVQ level 3 electrical qualification or equivalent
- Basic PC skills
