Role: Field Service Engineer (No stay away)

Location: Bedford, Chelmsford, Edmonton

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus

Shifts: Mon-Fri Days Only + Flexible Hours

The Company:

Our client is a metal recycling business with a turnover in the billions annually. They are a family run business too meaning that this is a very stable position. They are currently experiencing exponential growth since they invest 95% of the company profits, meaning that they have some of the newest equipment on site and will offer on the job training relevant to the role.  They are looking for a field service engineer to join their new and growing maintenance team to drive forward Continuous Improvement and Projects alike.

The Role:

The role of field service engineer will include

-        Reactive and Pre Planned Maintenance (PPM), they are looking to increase the amount of PPM done to reduce the time taken with reactive maintenance

-        Maintenance of machines such as: shredders, sheers, granulators, pressers

-        Swapping components like for like such as: valves, bearings, belts, relays, sensors, contactors and more

-        Working with a team of 4 other field service engineers so that you don’t face challenges alone

The Right Candidate:

The right candidate for the role of field service engineer will:

-        Have a recognised engineering qualification

-        Be confident fault finding electrically and mechanically

-        Be confident swapping like for like and stripping and rebuilding

-        Work with electrical and mechanical components

-        Be in possession of a driver’s license

The Benefits:
