£50,000 + bonus up to 15%
I am currently supporting a global business who are the leaders in the market within the UK. Over the past 3 years the company has gone through major growth through acquisitions and expansion at current sites.
The company is a service provider to a number of different industries and has a strong order book which continues to grow through new contracts.
The future looks exciting, and they can offer true career progression through mentoring, training and further qualifications.
Their site now requires a Logistics manager to lead from the front and make this role their own.
This a key role within the business where you will be tasked with being responsible for the highest levels of customer service.
As the logistics manager your responsibilities are:
- Delivering first class customer service
- Implementation of transport strategy
- Ensuring fleet is compliant
- Management of transport team – up to 35
- Managing remote teams who sit on customer sites
- Carrying out driver audits
- Performance reviews
- Full budgetary control
- P&L responsibility
The ideal candidate for this logistics manager role:
- Must be driven, motivated, engaging and able to build strong relationships
- CPC holder
- Ideally hold an IOSH qualification
- Experience within a logistics role
- A background within FMCG
