An exciting opportunity has become available working for a family run business with a turnover of over £150 million. This business continues to grow as they have been established for over 150 years, resulting in 14 sites across the UK. The position for maintenance electrician would be based within the successful businesses 50-person team.
The Role
As a maintenance electrician your role will include:
- Reactive work, fixing broken sensors, cable damage and phase burnouts on motors.
- PPM including inspecting cables, working in the control panels and rewiring sensors.
- Primarily electrical work with an aspect of mechanical work too
- Electrical work would be working with 415v equipment, control panels, 3 phase motors, interlock systems, power feed systems, relays and inverts.
- Mechanical aspects would include chains, grips, pulleys, bearings and belts.
About you
The ideal maintenance electrician for this role would be:
- Happy to work on old machinery
- Happy to work in a small team as well as being able to stand on their own two feet
- Must be physically fit and proactive planned preventative maintenance on the automated production line equipment to rectify any minor faults
- Previous experience as a maintenance electrician
- 18th edition qualification is required and anything else electrically desired
