Role: Maintenance Engineer
Shifts: 4 On 4 Off (Days and Nights)
Location: Grays
Salary: Up To £50,000 + Overtime
Benefits: Bonus + PLC Training + Optional Callout + Overtime

With over 60 manufacturing facilities worldwide and a turnover globally over £600m, they can offer fantastic job security and have been based at this site for over two decades giving the right maintenance engineer fantastic stability and security long term.
With exciting improvement projects around the corner, an opportunity has arisen for two maintenance engineers to join my clients engineering function as they have looked at moving maintenance engineers onto project based roles! With various site improvements around the corner, they are also looking at upskilling the maintenance engineers on site with PLC training, giving the right engineers the ability to interrogate PLCs and modify code accordingly!

The Role:
The role of maintenance engineer will include the following:
- Planned and Reactive Maintenance on all the machinery on site including: Injection Moulding machinery, Blow Moulding Machinery, Conveyors and more
- Working Electrically with; Sensors, Relays, Contactors, Invertors, 3 Phase, Variable Frequency Drives
- Mechanically working with: Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Belts, Bearings, Shafts, Gearboxes, Rollers
- Fault Finding Electrically and Mechanically then using your engineering skills to repair the faults
- Undertaking regular meetings with senior engineers, completing reports and working with contractors on site
- Reading Electrical Drawings to aid in Fault Finding
The Candidate:
The right engineer for this position will have the following:
- A recognised engineering qualification
- Experience working within engineering (Open to Industry)
- Ability to work alone or in a team
- Strong Fault Finding Skills Electrically and Mechanically
- Be willing and able to undertaking regular training to become the best engineer you can be
