Maintenance engineer duties:
You'll manage daily maintenance on specialized machinery, offering a diverse, constantly evolving role. In this industry, it's an ideal chance for a maintenance engineer eager to dive into cutting-edge machinery and broaden their skill set. Your day will include:
- Reactive and proactive maintenance on Dip baths, overhead cranes, robotics, formers, spraying equipment and much more!
- Mechanically, you’ll be dealing with hydraulics, pneumatics and large components.
- Electrically, you’ll fault finding on 3 phase machinery and control panels.
- PLC troubleshooting (Full training provided)
- Reading engineer drawings and diagrams.
The business offers a well organised induction where they’ll get you familiar with the day to day running of the plant. Furthermore, they’ll work with you to increase your knowledge through a tailored training matrix.
A successful maintenance engineer application:
- You must hold an engineering qualification level 2 +
- My client will consider ex-forces and has employed people straight after their time before.
