Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or electrical)

07:00 till 16:30 – Monday to Thursday

07:00 till 13:30 – Fridays, our client is big on your work life balance so this early finish can be moved to your preferred day!

£32,000 - £36,000

On target earnings: £40,000 + Production bonuses + Premium overtime + PLC courses + 18th edition.

Maintenance engineer duties:
You'll manage daily maintenance on specialized machinery, offering a diverse, constantly evolving role. In this industry, it's an ideal chance for a maintenance engineer eager to dive into cutting-edge machinery and broaden their skill set. Your day will include:

  • Reactive and proactive maintenance on Dip baths, overhead cranes, robotics, formers, spraying equipment and much more!
  • Mechanically, you’ll be dealing with hydraulics, pneumatics and large components.
  • Electrically, you’ll fault finding on 3 phase machinery and control panels.
  • PLC troubleshooting (Full training provided)
  • Reading engineer drawings and diagrams.

The business offers a well organised induction where they’ll get you familiar with the day to day running of the plant. Furthermore, they’ll work with you to increase your knowledge through a tailored training matrix.

A successful maintenance engineer application:

  • You must hold an engineering qualification level 2 +
