Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary and Incentives: £50,356, Pension and Overtime paid
Shifts: 2 days 2 nights 6 off
The Company
My client are Specialists in the design, development, manufacture sale and service of equipment used within DC’s. The site was built in 2019, it is a multi million pound site with state of the art machinery and continuous investment from my client. The company is a German manufacturer and is nearly 90 years old with 16 production facilities on 3 different continents and different countries now having over 8000 employees across the globe. My client are looking for an Engineer to join the ever growing team that has now reach over 30!
The role
As a Maintenance Engineer your roles will include:
- Working in a highly automated factory in the FMCG industry with the ASRS being a dominant factor
- Your responsibilities will include Reactive and PPM maintenance on all the machines and equipment on site, such as: Mini Loaders, Conveyors, Hanging Garment conveyors, Palletisers and de palletisers, Shuttle Systems and Cranes
- A lot of the role will be fault finding electrically working with various components
- Mechanically working with various components and swapping like for like
- Root cause analysis, Looking at recurring faults and Engineering problems out
The Candidate
The ideal candidate I am looking for is:
- You will need a recognised Engineering Qualification
- Strong communication skills as you will be joining 1 Senior and 5 fellow Engineers on shift
- You will joining a team from various backgrounds
- Confident in fault finding in panels
