Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Haverhill
Shifts: Monday – Friday Days
Salary: Upto £40,000 / Private healthcare / 33 days holiday and sign on bonus
The Company
My client are an industry leading manufacturing company in their respective industry. They operate in Haverhill and are looking to hire Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to join their team. The company are currently going through a journey with heavy investment, machinery upgrades and with the future looking bright this is a great time to join a growing business. From this sole site, they manufacture a variety of specialist products and distribute to a number of businesses nationwide.
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be:
- Operating as either a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer
- As a mechanical Engineer your day to day will be focussing on Stripping and rebuilding, welding and fabrication as well as looking into swapping shafts, pumps, valves and motors
- As an Electrical Engineer you will be working on, Sensors, Relays, Three phase motors and fault finding
- As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be working alongside a CMMS system with a lot of the work being reactive so you will be kept busy
- With the growing site there is scope for Improvement projects (Engineering Manager will be keen to hear the ideas that you have to offer)
What were looking for
I am looking for a Maintenance Engineer that has:
- A recognised engineering qualification
- A responsible engineer that can work in a team but take responsibility
- Have good communication skills and is able to work under pressure
- Experience working in Maintenance Engineering in a factory environment
