We are working with a market leader in the construction materials manufacturing industry, and they are searching for a talented mechanical maintenance engineer to work at their site in the heart of burton-upon-trent. A multisite group with sites across the UK producing a range of products used for all purposes including construction, home improvement and landscape markets. A turnover of over 700 million and a business continuously growing this is a great opportunity for a experienced mechanical maintenance engineer. The machinery you will be working on includes concrete batching systems, conveyors and mixing houses.
The Role:
As a mechanical maintenance engineer your role will include,
- Reactive maintenance/breakdowns
- Planned preventative maintenance.
- Continuous improvement work
- Fault finding mechanically.
- Working on hydraulics/pneumatics to
- Working with bearings, gearboxes, belts, and rollers
What they need:
As a mechanically bias maintenance engineer, our client are looking for
- A hungry and motivated engineer
- Level 3 qualified in the mechanical/electrical biases
- Someone who is a team player and has worked on teams before.
- An aptitude to learn and progress their skills.
