What you’ll be doing
- Working across a wide range of site-based plant and equipment
- Fault finding on automated and control-based systems
- Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities
- Supporting servicing, repair, and reliability of production assets
- Following preventative maintenance schedules via digital systems
- Assisting with new installations and ongoing site upgrades
- Ensuring all work complies with health & safety standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement and site performance initiatives
What the client is looking for
To succeed as a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll need:
- A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.)
- Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- A flexible attitude, with willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to work well within a mixed and supportive engineering team.
