The Company
I am proud to be working with a Global provider in the manufacturing sector. My client are looking for a Maintenance Engineer in Milton Keynes to join the team and be able to hit the ground running. Being a global manufacturer their turnover last year was pushing the £5bn mark. With nearly 150 production sites globally if you are looking for development and security then this is the role for you. My client recently had a number of sites in the UK achieve Gold Standard World class Manufacturing. Due to recent investment and growth in their site at Milton Keynes they are looking for 4 Maintenance Engineers to help with the site due to demand of their product
The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer you will:
- Be working on various machinery including – various moulding machinery as well as conveyor and vacuum systems
- Working as a multi skilled engineer in high pressure scenarios in a fast moving environment
- Mechanical tasks including – fault finding, stripping and rebuilding, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Electrical tasks including – Fault finding, swapping like for like and reading diagrams
- Reacting to breakdowns as well as working on PPMs when not firefighting
- Ensure that all relevant paperwork and logs are completed correctly and accurately alongside company procedure
The Individual
As a Maintenance Engineer I am looking for:
- An individual with a recognised engineering qualification
- Someone who is willing to work as part of a team but be able to work independently
- Confident working mechanically and electrically in high pressure scenarios
- Experience in Engineering
Package
As a Maintenance Engineer you will:
- Receive a basic salary of upto £52,000 (DoE)
- Training on the site specific machinery and potential external training for the right individuals, training to help bridge the skills gaps identified
