We are working with a prestigious client — a multisite business with over 80 years of UK experiences supplying to the construction sector. Operating a state-of-the-art facility in the heart of Bedfordshire, this company offers long-term job security, an outstanding reputation, and nationwide success. The engineering department is known for its supportive culture, robust training programs, and clear career progression paths. They are currently looking to strengthen their engineering team by welcoming a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer.
Currently with £10 million worth of capex projetcs ongoing on site, you will be joining the compnay at a perfect time if your looking to get involved in projects
The Role:
As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Reactive Maintenance
- Planned Preventive Maintenance
- Mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting
- Working on machinery Including Kilns, Hoppers, Packaging machines and more
- Working on mechanical systems such as conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and pumps
- Repair and overhaul of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Candidate Requirements:
Our ideal Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will have:
- A Level 3 qualification
- Proven experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Willingness to work shifts
- Strong team player with a positive, problem-solving attitude
