Maintenance Engineer – Days
Panama shift - DAYS ONLY
£35,000 + overtime + 25 days of Holiday + pension + training
The Company
Our client specialises in the processing and packaging of food products for various supermarkets across the UK. With multiple sites across the Country the company have a turnover in excess of £90million and are continuing to grow steadily.
Established over many years, the business has gone from strength to strength and now also have an arm of the business specifically set up to advise growers on new and better methods in farming.
The business employ over 400 people and take a keen interest in local affairs, with strong links to local colleges and schools plus social events for employees. Thanks to this family orientated approach the company have an excellent staff retention ratio.
The Role
Due to their planned expansion, the company now require an additional two maintenance engineers to form part of a new fifth shift. Each shift of two engineers is manned by one mechanically biased engineer and one electrically biased. Both engineers would be required to fault find on all production equipment, however it would be the specialist who would make the repair depending on if the fault is electrical or mechanical.
The Maintenance Engineer would be required to do both reactive and PPM work, plus occasional project work when required. The day will do the majority of the work on a reactive basis, but will also do PPMs and project work.
The site has broad range of production equipment and the Maintenance Engineer would need to maintain all production line including conveyors (belt, roller and mesh), check weighers, graders, washers, sealers, printers, bagging and netting lines.

To be successful in your application you must have the following skills or attributes:
- Apprentice trained, level 3
