Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Package: £40k +1.5 x OT + £2k annual bonus
Shifts: Panama, 3’s and 2’s Days and nights (every other weekend off).
Location: Dunstable
The Company
My client is a Uk leading packaging manufacturer with a turnover of £15 million per annum. They specialise in high performance products using state-of-the-art machinery supplying into various industries; with reinvestment being a key focus in their companies’ interest to both increase manufacturing efficiency while reducing costs and carbon footprint.
With the growing success of the company, they are looking to add another maintenance engineer to the existing team. This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic maintenance engineer to take on the role and increase their knowledge in a stable and prospective role.
The Role
The maintenance engineering role will involve:
- Reactive and PPM work on machines such as multi extruders, conversion equipment, blenders, recycling presses, rollers, control panels and motors.
- Fault finding electrically includes- replacing like for like components such as relays, contactors, sensors, single & 3 phase motors, control panels.
- Mechanical responsibilities include fault finding, stripping and repairing or replacing like for like components such as linear bearings, belts, rollers, hydraulics, pneumatics and cylinders.
- Involved with project work and CI.
The Candidate
To be successful in the application for this maintenance engineer tole you will need:
- Recognised mechanical or electrical qualifications.
- Confidence in fault finding on electrical and mechanical components.
- To work well within a team and own your own.
- Be motivated in a working environment.
