Maintenance engineer, Stoke-On-Trent, £33,000 – 34,000
Shifts – 3 days per week, weekends only Saturday, Sunday 0600 – 1800pm, you get the flexibility to pick your final day. 36 hours per week only.

ATA are supporting a global manufacturing business at their fully automated site in Stoke-On-Trent. Turning over north of £1.5 billion, this multisite European group are true leaders within their market and will produce over 1 million cubic metres of their product in 2021, selling predominately into the construction materials market. Due to an increase in the volume of sales over the last 18 months, they are now looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to join their team.
About the role
As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for the full upkeep of onsite plant machinery. You will be tasked with completing PPMs and reacting to breakdowns as of when they happen. It will be your job to ensure machinery is running efficiently, machine downtime is reduced, and improvements are made to machinery where possible. Due to the requirements of production, this role is predominately PPM focused where you will work from the CMMS to complete scheduled daily, weekly, and annual maintenance.
About you
As a maintenance Engineer you should hold relevant experience working from within a manufacturing/service environment. It would be beneficial for you to be multiskilled with a slight electrical bias, however if you are able to demonstrate your electrical knowledge whilst being mechanical biased, you will still be considered.
- Self-motivated, proactive and have strong communication skills.
- Hold a recognised engineering qualification (City & Guilds NVQ, BTEC, ONC, HND, HNC, or equivalent).
