Company Overview

Our client is one of the UK’s largest manufacturing groups nationwide and employing over 2,100 people. Although well-established, the business continues to make steady improvements and invest where needed to support its long-term operations.

This role sits within one of more traditional manufacturing sites. While the plant has seen some upgrades over the years, it remains a heavy industrial environment with equipment that requires hands-on mechanical work and regular attention.

The site operates a wide range of long-standing machinery including mixers, conveyors, silos, hydraulics, pneumatics, and large material-handling systems. Engineers joining the team can expect a practical, mechanically demanding environment with a consistent flow of maintenance work.

The business supplies a broad range of markets across the UK, giving it stability and consistent demand, even if the site itself is more traditional than modern.
