About the client
We are supporting a large UK manufacturing group within the construction materials market who are searching for both an electrically biased and mechanically biased maintenance engineer to join the team in their Coalville plant. Holding the lions share of their market space, the group turnover north of £250 million and employ over 1500 people across multiple manufacturing plants. Each site is set up to house a different manufacturing process, producing various products to sell into the housing, civil, rail & power sectors. This is a fantastic role for engineers looking to secure stable employment for the foreseeable future.
About the role
As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for completing ppm, reacting to breakdowns and completing remedial repair work in a busy manufacturing environment. This would be on automated heavy plant machinery, including 3 phase equipment (415v), conveyors, mixing equipment, hydraulic presses plus more. You will be responsible for fault finding on automated machinery, this would be through various methods, including through siemens/Allen Bradley PLC.
If you were to be brought in to work as a mechanical maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for fault finding, strip and rebuild, welding, fabrication.
As an electrical maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for fault finding, swapping like for like, electrical installation, & project work.
To be considered for this maintenance engineer opportunity, you should have experience working within a factory environment, preferably within medium to heavy industry.
- Experience with fault finding
- Experience working from a CMMS to complete PPMs.
- Experience reacting to breakdowns.
- Mechanical or electrical qualification.
