Role: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: £50k + OT + Bonus
Shift: 4 on 4 off days and nights.
Location: Plaistow
The Company
My client is an industry leader in the production of a variety of well-known household branded beverages. They currently have several sites across the UK and due to the company’s growth and development have invested a further £50 million into this site alone in the last 5 years. Therefore, the site is home some of the latest state-of-the-art automated systems within the industry.
This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer to join an industry leading company with the safety of working for a high-status company that is continuing to grow in this high demand industry.
The Role
This maintenance engineering role will involve:
- Reactive and PPM maintenance of PLC’s, conveyor systems, packaging systems, scanners, labelling machines, fillers.
- Electrical responsibilities include fault finding and repairing of PLC’s, sensors, relays, contactors, and switches.
- Mechanical responsibilities include fault finding and repair of bearings, belts, gearboxes, shafts, rollers and pneumatics, motors, chains and motors.
- Working 12-hour shifts 4 on 4 off days and nights.
The Candidate
To be successful in the application for this maintenance engineer role you will need:
- Recognised mechanical or electrical qualification.
- Confidence in fault finding on mechanical or electrical components.
- To work well within a team and independently.
- Be motivated in a working environment.
- Be flexible to work 12-hour shifts.
