Maintenance engineer, £36,500 + bonus + overtime Coleford, Monday – Friday (3 shift style pattern, 40 hours)  

Plus, double matched pension up to 10% and a generous holiday allowance.

About the client

We are supporting a large UK manufacturing group within the construction materials market who are searching for an electrically biased maintenance engineer to join the team in their Coleford plant. Holding the lion’s share of their market, the group turnover north of £350 million and employ over 2000 people across 18 manufacturing plants in the UK. Each site is set up to house a different manufacturing process, producing various products to sell into the housing & civil engineering markets. This is a fantastic role for engineers looking to secure stable employment for the foreseeable future.

About the role

As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for completing ppm, reacting to breakdowns and completing remedial repair work in a busy manufacturing environment. This would be on automated heavy plant machinery, including 3 phase equipment (415v), conveyors, mixing equipment, hydraulic presses plus more. You will be responsible for fault finding on automated machinery, this would be through various methods, including through siemens PLC.

About you

As a maintenance engineer, you should have experience working within an automated environment ideally from manufacturing. You should possess multiskilled knowledge, with ideally an electrical bias. You should be happy working within an industrial environment within a large engineering team. 

  • You should hold a recognised electrical engineering qualification (Level 3 or above) city and guilds, NVQ, BTEC, HND, HNC.
