Maintenance Engineer, Up to £47,700 + OT, Based in Leicester
Shift: Week 1 – Mon-Fri 6-6, Week 2 – Mon-fri 6-6, Followed by a Week off

We have an exciting opportunity to join a market leading business, who are in the search for a maintenance engineer to join their well-established site in the Leicester area.
The business has been operating for over 15 years and in that period has become a market leader with their turnover reaching over £100 million last year and on track to break that number this year. While expanding immensely across the country, they have also been operating at a high level with their sites receiving numerous awards in the quality of their products.
With the firm supplying to a wide range of large companies within the UK, our client has created a loyal customer base with exclusive contracts across the biggest companies in the UK. In doing so they are a very stable company creating a great opportunity for an engineer to join a growing business with an expanding vision.
The Role
The role will be a mix of electrical and mechanical tasks. Therefore, as the maintenance engineer onsite, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned maintenance.
- Reacting to breakdowns.
- Completing remedial repair work across the site.
- Maintaining machinery such as check weighers, conveyors, pallet wrappers and shrink wrappers and bespoke machinery specific to this site.
- Fault finding on automated machinery
The Candidate:
For this role, the right candidate will need to:
- Hold a Level 3 Engineering qualification.
- Experience working within an engineering background.
- Experience Fault Finding on 3 Phase machinery.
