Role: Maintenance Engineer

Package: Up to £47,000 + OT + training

Shifts: Double days (1 week of 06:00 – 14:00 and 1 week of 14:00 – 22:00)

The Company

My client is a specialist in the manufacture and production of specialist chemical solutions for C02 and O2 products. With being a leader in their niche market they supply to some of the world’s largest industries across a variety of sectors. As well as the site in Harlow, they have multiple manufacturing sites across the world supplying to their global clientele.

Although this is a global multimillion pound business, the current engineering function is made up of 4 engineers meaning you get the benefit of a large business while being an integral and valued part of the team. This is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to get their hands involved in some true engineering, while gaining training and experience on specialised manufacturing production lines.

The Role

This maintenance engineer role will involve:

  • Reactive and PPM work on various mixers, presses, robotics, conveyors, filling machines, labellers, sieving systems, extruders, silos, and tanks.
  • Electrical responsibilities including fault finding, working with sensors, relays, contactors, and control panels along and 3 phase electrics swapping like for like components.
  • Mechanical responsibilities include replacing like for like components such as valves, pumps, bearings, belts, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Be flexible to work double days.

The Candidate

To be successful in the application for this maintenance engineer role you will need:

  • Recognised mechanical or electrical qualification.
  • Confidence in fault finding on electrical and mechanical components.
  • To work well within a team.
  • Be motivated in a working environment.
