Job role – Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
£46,800 + OTE of £55K + 21 days holiday
Shifts – 4 days on 4 days off then 4 nights on 4 nights off
Location – Wakefield

The company
Our client is providing you the opportunity to work for a rapidly growing global distribution centre that supplies products for some of the largest food companies in the world! As a maintenance engineer, the innovative company provides you with the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art automated distribution centre with brand new machinery, allowing you to play your part in maintaining the company’s stature as a market leader.
The Role
As a multi-skilled maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on automation systems
- Mechanical responsibilities including – fault finding and replacing components such as, chains, sprockets, motors, and rollers
- Electrical responsibilities including – fault finding on PLCs, reading schematic drawings, working on invertors and AC/DC drives, and installation work
Requirements
It is required that you have:
- A qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering (NVQ equivalent)
- Previous experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering
- The ability to fault find on a PLC
