The Company:

Our client are a well established Manufacturing business that currently have a need to add a Maintenance Planner to their highly automated manufacturing facility based in West London. This is a new position within the business and has come about due to the continued growth of the company and investment in the Engineering function. The site is now going through a period of change with multiple projects ongoing to improve the site across the board making it an exciting time to join the business. This opportunity is fantastic for an Engineer who wants to get his teeth stuck and really drive forward change within a company.

The Role:

The Role of Maintenance Planner will include the following responsibilities.

  • Creating new PPMs for the highly automated machinery on site using a CMMS system
  • Using Data from the CMMS to help analyse the performance of the machinery and using this analysis to update and change the PPMs in place
  • Keeping control of the stocks of spares, ensuring that there are enough critical spares for emergencies
  • Helping manage contractors on site, dealing with RAMS and issuing permits
  • Help increase the Reliability of the Machinery on site

The Candidate:

The Right Candidate for the Role of Maintenance Planner will have:

  • Experience using a CMMS system to manage PPMs
  • Experience with PPM creation and modification
  • Have experience within Maintenance Engineering
  • Have experience dealing with contractors
  • Have a positive attitude and look to stop problems from occurring before they do
