Job Title –Maintenance Planner
Shifts – Days- Monday to Friday (Flex working hours)
Location – Cambridge
Salary - £42,000-£48,000

A fantastic opportunity has presented itself for a Maintenance Planner to work for a leading recycling and waste management company. They need someone to join their team and continue the growth within the business helping them to tackle reducing waste. The business are very cash rich and now on a journey to modernise there maintenance function. They are looking for someone to help drive the improvement of the site. As a business they cover the whole of the UK with over 20 sites! The Role
The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for:
- Managing the PPM systems, scheduling work orders on the assets on site.
- Improving the Stores with 5s and have a CI focus.
- Support with the delivering the weekly plan for engineers making sure all scheduled work is completed
- Process orders for spare parts, verifying order details, coordinating with the engineering team.
- Help drive a continuous improvement mindset on looking at area where you can improve the site.
- Maintain a close working relationship with Production and transport allowing to get access on machinery.
- Supporting with the implementation of a brand new CMMS
- Building in history of the Maintenance activities and plan maintenance task in advance.
The Candidate
To be successful as a Maintenance Planner you must have the following skills, abilities or qualifications:
- Worked with a maintenance planning system.
- Managed a Team or looking to step in to a leadership role
- Must have previous experience working on automated site.
