Shift Manager/Maintenance Team Leader, Maintenance Supervisor

Nottingham, Mansfield

We are currently recruiting for the largest single site distribution centre in the UK at 3 million square foot. Due to growth and site expansion, they have already completed phase 1 with phase 2 being completed in November this year and are now requiring an additional Shift Manager to oversee a team of highly skilled maintenance engineers.

The primary function of the Shift Manager is to support the production department throughout the provision of planned and daily maintenance on equipment’s such as conveyors, shuttle systems, auto baggers, packing equipment and much more. You will oversee a team of 9 engineers on shift. The engineering department currently operate a rotating continental shift pattern of 05:50-17:50 with the occasional overtime.

To be considered for the Shift Manager’s role, you must possess the following:

-         Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

-         Management experience (minimum of 2 years)

-         Worked within a fast-paced environment setting

-         PPM scheduling

-         Have contributed to continuous improvement projects to drive change to the production

-         develop, train and mentor your team.
