Maintenance Supervisor

Salary - £53,000-£54,000

Shifts- 4 on 4 off (2 Days 2 Nights)

Location- Commutable from Stoke, Nantwich and Crewe


The Role

As a Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for… Managing the engineering team to ensure delivery of scheduled work and reactive work so that plant availability is optimised and manage technical specifications for products, processes & packaging.

Implement agreed training & development plans to meet engineering & production needs. Comply with statutory, Health & Safety requirements, ensure reports work in a safe manner. This will include ownership of dynamic risk assessment process.

Warrant downtime is minimised, accurately logged, and monitor the repair time. Liaise with planning and operations team to allow for PPM to be completed in a timely manner.

Ensure all stock is logged in and out of the stores area highlighting any stock issues to the engineering team manager.

Requirements of The Maintenance Supervisor

Strong people management experience

A multi skilled background

Experience completing both reactive and planned maintenance activity and small installations.

Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

Appropriate professional mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications and training

Thorough understanding of common mechanical and electrical systems

Professional attitude with plenty of drive and enthusiasm

Good IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
