Here at ATA, we are excited to be working with a nationally recognised, award-winning manufacturer based in Boston, providing assistance in recruiting for a maintenance team leader to join their well-established site in Boston.
Our client has been operating for over 30 years and in this time has won numerous awards for the quality of their products and the service they provide to their clients. The firm has worked with numerous large-scale companies and as a result of their continued efforts, the turnover has grown to over £2 Billion. Highlighting the stability of our client and the industry which the firm operates within.
Furthermore, due to the large turnover our client has, this has created the opportunity for engineers to be further trained on the newest machinery due to continued investment from our client into its sites. Therefore, this is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer looking to make that next step in their career into management or alternatively a team leader looking to grow within a huge company with multiple avenues to progress within.
The Role
During your time as the maintenance team leader on site, you will be expected to work on a variety of machinery as detailed below. The work you will be carrying out during your time will be a mix of both electrical and mechanical work, with the role consisting 70% of the time to being hands on with the remainer being based with management responsibilities. Therefore, as the maintenance team leader onsite, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of 5 engineers.
- Creating a high-performance culture while supporting and developing engineers to achieve their potential.
- Planning and prioritising workload.
- Carrying out planned maintenance
- Handling any breakdowns which arise.
- Ensuring permits are in place for contractors and colleagues to be able to work safely.
- Actively contribute to daily meetings and carrying root cause analysis.
The Engineer
To be considered for this Maintenance Team Leader opportunity, you should have:
- Experience working within an industrial environment.
- Must have experience with Fault Finding on 3 Phase Machinery.
- Level 3 Engineering Qualification
