Maintenance Technician based in Wellingborough, Working 3 on 3 off Days, Earning £35,000 + OT + Bonus (OTE £38K+)

We are excited to be working with our client who is a market leader in ensuring safety within the food manufacturing industry, in providing assistance in their search for a maintenance engineer to join their well-established Wellingborough Site.
Our client has been operating for over 30 years and during this period they have grown to become a company which has amassed a turnover north of £30million. Furthermore, as our client has become a market leader in the food safety industry, our client this continued to invest into their multiple sites located across the UK with the vision of making sure their sites are operating at full capacity with the site currently processing over 30,000 units a day.
As the business has progressed from 1 site to multiple sites, so has the reputation which has increased to a point where the majority of major supermarkets across the UK use the services of our client in their safety practises. This further enforces our client is in a very stable position within the UK market and is growing bigger each year.
The Role
During your time as the maintenance engineer on site, the work that you will be doing will consist of a mix of mechanical and electrical work. Therefore, as the maintenance engineer onsite, you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out planned maintenance.
- Reacting to breakdowns.
- Completing remedial work across a busy site.
- Maintaining machinery such as conveyors, stackers, de-stackers, springs, washers and shrink wrappers.
- Fault finding on mechanical and electrical components.
The Candidate
To be considered for this Maintenance Engineer opportunity, you will need:
- Must have a minimum Level 2 Engineering Qualification, Eg: NVQ, B-Tech, City and Guilds.
- To be comfortable working in fast paced environment.
- Open to different industry experience as well as level of experience.
