What you’ll be doing
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll work across a wide range of automated production equipment in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities include:

  • Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, project work, and installations.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime.
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities and contributing to machine reliability projects.

What the client is looking for
To succeed as a Maintenance Technician, you’ll need:

  • A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.)
  • Experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
  • A strong background in factory or manufacturing environments.
  • A proactive approach with good problem-solving and teamwork skills.
