Job Title – Mechanical Fitter (DAYS)
Hours of work: Days: Monday to Friday
Location – Coventry
Salary package - £32,000- £34,000 + (overtime OTE 10K)
Holiday: 25 days + Bank holiday
This well-established Special Purpose Manufacturer are now looking for a Mechanical Fitter. The company turns over north of 300 million and operates across 23 sites world wide which means it is a very stable business! In the last five years they have utilised the increased demand for technologically advanced machinery in a number of different industries and are winning larger and more exciting projects as time goes on. My Client are looking to continue their inevitable growth and are looking for a mechanical fitter to join their exciting business.
The role
Day to day responsibilities of a Mechanical Fitter:
- Working from engineering drawings.
- Working with the design team.
- Using a wide range of hand tools to make precise changes to parts.
- Assembly of a wide range of mechanical parts varying in sizes.
- Machine build on various robotic systems.
- General fabrication skills.
My Client requires a Mechanical Fitter with experience in the following areas:
- Working from engineering drawings (pneumatic and Hydraulic)
- Experience in the assembly of mechanical parts.
- Hands on practical background.
- Engineering qualification.
- Attention to detail.
- Proactivity and own initiative.
