Our client is a manufacturer of Construction Products that is currently going through an extremely busy period, as a result they are looking to add to their maintenance team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of automated production machinery within an industrial manufacturing environment. Most of the work will be reactive maintenance and the rest will be following a PPM schedule. The equipment you will be working on includes, overhead cranes, robotics, mixing and curing machinery, conveying plus more. This is a fast-paced role and there is lots of variety in the role. As a contractor you will be required to hit the ground running.
You will be part of a maintenance team which will be tasked to keep production up and running.
Further responsibilities include:
- Fault finding
- Machine installation and project work
- Replacing large bearings, chains and conveyors
- Managing health and safety
- Making sure there is very minimum downtime
You must possess the following to be considered for this role:
- Must have worked as a Maintenance Engineer in an automated environment and experience in Mechanical installations.
- Be able to work in a Heavy Maintenance Environment
