Job Title – Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location – Rotherham
Salary - £32-34k (OTE 45k)
Overtime -Yes and plenty of it!
Shifts – 3 shifts and working 1 Saturday every 3 weeks

My client is a leading FMCG manufacturer supplying into the UK’s biggest blue chip/retail companies. They have several sites across the UK with their biggest site in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. They are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their busy engineering team which houses over 30 engineers.
The Role
As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for both planned preventative maintenance tasks and reacting to breakdowns as they arise. Producing over 5 million units a week, speed is king and the maintenance engineer must react quickly to ensure the lines are running as soon as humanly possible.
My client is looking for:
To be successful in your application as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer you must have the following skills or attributes:
- Experienced Mechanical Maintenance engineer in the FMCG factory setting with a minimum of 3 years
- NVQ Level 3 or above within an engineering discipline
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Happy to work 3 shifts and overtime where required
- Motivated, team player and able to work alone
